Just a mid 20's guy setting out to fulfill a childhood dream to create art and memories for years to come
Hey, what's Up Guys?
When I was in middle school I got my first GoPro for my birthday. I loved capturing moments on It from all of our family vacations we would go on. I wanted to be one of those famous GoPro photographers that captured nature and all its beauty. I also loved creating films for our family to go look back for years to come. As all childhood dreams this dream started to fade. I stopped shooting and focused on going to college and my soccer career. Throughout high school my mom was a wedding photographer. I used to sit in her office with her all the time and "help" her edit, culling through thousands of photos from her weekend.
I didn't end up doing the college life for various reasons and I decided to take a year and attend YWAM ( youth with a mission) to pursue my faith, but also It was in the Sunshine Coast of Australia.
I feel like this is about to sound like a dating profile but Oh whale (that pun though).
As a parting gift my mom lended my her back up camera and told me to learn how to use It and take lots of pictures. On my 32 hour flight I looked through youtube looking at thousands of youtube videos on how to work this thing. "how do I use a camera to take dope travel photos?" After spending a year abroad traveling around Australia, to Africa, and then the Philippines. I decided It was my time to head home.
I got back and my sister got engaged later that year in Maine. This was my first film of capturing two people in love and showing the story of how they got there. About 2 months later and after launching my career into real estate I was asked to film a wedding.I googled "how to film a wedding" and well the rest is kind of history...
My absolute favorite thing about what I get to do is physically being there on my couples wedding day to capture the moments for them to cherish for years to come.
“To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life."
